Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, AMDA has moved many of its courses to an online format. This guide is a supplement to the regular AMDA-NY library website, to aid students and faculty during this time.

How to Access Online Resources

The AMDA Library has several digital subscriptions that can support faculty and students during the online instruction period of March 23 - April 5
Library Staff will prepare recommendations for faculty in various departments, but please also reference our complete listing of resources on the Online Resources page linked in the top menu.
Flipster and New Play Exchange do not support off-campus access, but students and faculty should email NYlibrary@amda.edu to request on-site assistance from Library Staff.

Is the Library open?

For everyone's safety and health, the Library is closed starting Saturday, March 14th through Sunday, April 5th.


Can I borrow materials from the Library during the closure?

At this time, there will be no lending during this closure period, but alternative lending methods are being discussed.


Can Alumni Visit campus?

To ensure the safety of the entire AMDA community, alumni access to campus is suspended from March 16th through April 5th.


How do I renew items online?

From the Catalog page, the Log In link is in the upper right corner. Borrowers use their 5-digit ID as both Card Number and PIN. Under Account Activity, current items are under Loans. This is where you can renew items.


I have a fine on my account! What does this mean?
